In most cases, housing rights or fruit enjoyment rights are agreed upon in the course of gift contracts and transfers (see there).

Often, however, this also results in the desire to contractually define and secure in the land register basic services (rights of way or crossing over other properties), personal services or other rights (right of first refusal, prohibition of encumbrances and sale, . . . ).
